Introduction to Tags<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

As you\u2019re building out quotes, equipment Tags are an important concept in organizing quotes, and associating models to the equipment on your project. This is an optional field; so, if you\u2019re placing stock orders, or building quotes where the tag is not necessary, you can ignore this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Defining Tags<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tags can be defined in 2 different ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add New Tag<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cAdd New Tag\u201d functionality allows you to specify distinct Tags and equipment types, independent of product selections. This allows you to rough-in project requirements for organization before specifying product models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To add a Tag using the \u201cAdd New Tag\u201d functionality:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Add New Tag.<\/strong> Click the \u201cAdd New Tag\u201d button. This will open a modal for input of Tag Name and Equipment Type.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Tag Name.<\/strong> Input the project\u2019s equipment Tag (P-1, WSHP-2, CT-3, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Equipment Type.<\/strong> Select an Equipment Type that describes the project Tag. A list of commonly used equipment types can be selected from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Equipment Type can be selected from a list of default types.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    If one of the default Equipment Types does not adequately describe the project\u2019s equipment, a custom Equipment Type can be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Add a custom Equipment Type by typing it in the Equipment Type field and clicking the \u201c+\u2026\u201d text.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    As you add Tags to the project, the Quote View will reflect these Tags and Products in a parent\/child relationship, simplifying the quote view. The subtotal of isolation products for each tag is displayed, which can be expanded to display individual products and prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you have multiple equipment types with similar requirements, you can also increment the Quantity for the tag itself, and the total number of product will be displayed in parenthesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Adding Tags (In-Line)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Tags can also be added \u201con the fly\u201d as you\u2019re adding individual products. Just input the tag in the \u201cAdd a Tag\u201d field, and proceed with adding the model normally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As you type in the Tag, all previously added Tags are displayed for selection; or, a new Tag can be added to the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
